About

Dongmei Chen is a Principal Fellow in the Oil and Gas Team at KAPSARC, specializing in energy trade, energy investment, geopolitics and regional energy cooperation. With more than 20 years of experience in China’s energy and climate change policy, she previously led the Climate Change and Energy Program at WWF China and worked at the Institute for Industrial Productivity. She has also held roles at China’s Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Water Conservation. Her expertise lies in advancing low-carbon initiatives, fostering international collaborations, and shaping sustainable energy policies.
