About
Xun Xu is a Fellow in KAPSARC’s Transportation and Infrastructure Team, specializing in freight transport energy demand and big data analysis. His research has been published in Energy Policy, contributing to a deeper understanding of global energy trends. Before joining KAPSARC, he worked at the East-West Center and the Natural Resources and Environmental Management Department at the University of Hawaii. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Hawaii, earned in 2015. His expertise focuses on freight transport demand modeling, macroeconomics, and the Chinese economy.
