Cian Mulligan is a Fellow in KAPSARC’s Energy Macro and Microeconomics Team, specializing in labor economics and local content policy. His research focuses on analyzing employment benefits from energy transitions, particularly within the context of Saudi Vision 2030. He has authored studies on green jobs in Saudi Arabia and optimizing local content policies and has presented his research at multiple international conferences. With professional and academic experience in Ireland, the Netherlands, the U.K., Spain, and other countries, his work bridges global best practices and Saudi economic development initiatives.
