About
Marie Petitet is a Senior Fellow in the Utilities and Renewables Program at KAPSARC, specializing in power system modeling, market designs for energy transitions, and resilient power system frameworks. Before joining KAPSARC, she worked as a Research Engineer in the R&D unit of EDF in Paris, contributing to long- and short-term electricity market designs, the European transmission grid, and smart charging for electric vehicles. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Dauphine University, PSL, and master’s degrees in environmental and energy economics and engineering from prestigious institutions in France. Her research interests include electricity markets, power system modeling, energy transitions, and climate policy.
