Ammar Hazzazi is currently the Executive Director of Energy Market Insights, where he leads a team of specialists that monitor developments shaping global energy markets. He brings diverse experience across oil and gas, energy policy, strategy, and advisory. Prior to his current role, he was a Portfolio Executive Director in Consulting Services, where he oversaw a wide range of projects serving multiple stakeholders in the Saudi energy ecosystem. Before joining KAPSARC, Ammar was as a drilling & workover engineer at Saudi Aramco, and later as a consultant at Elixir Management Consultancy. He holds a B.Sc. in petroleum engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and an M.S. in energy economics from Rice University.
