Ahmed Al-Balawi

About

Ahmed Albalawi is a Fellow in the Utilities and Renewables Program at KAPSARC, specializing in power system modeling and renewable energy technologies. He holds an M.Sc. in renewable energy systems from Loughborough University. Before joining KAPSARC, he spent over five years in research and development at the Saudi Electricity Company, where he led research initiatives on renewables and energy storage. Through his work, Ahmed aims to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s green energy targets and future energy mix strategies. His current research focuses on wind power, battery storage, and critical minerals.
